About Bella
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
A rare opportunity has come up for someone to care for 2 senior cats for the rest of their lives, with their vet costs, food, flea and worming treatment covered by Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL NSW) in Kemps Creek. They are looking for a home without other pets.
CHARLOTTE (9 year old female tabby)
Charlotte is the epitome of sassy charm overlayed with a high degree of sensitivity. She is cautious and curious when first introduced, however with a few treats or ear rubs she will soon be flopping about on the floor for more cuddles. She has a personality that will keep you entertained and on your toes. She's not afraid to let you know what she thinks, and on occasion will have a 'semi-toothless baby shark' moment, chasing your feet for a gentle nibble or tap, as a reminder she would really like to play, have a tasty treat of chicken pate or is overdue for a smoochy cuddle.
Feather mice or birds are her favourite toys and she'll happily chase, pounce and leap around, making every day an adventure. She is highly intelligent, keen to please and has bonded with a key member of our household. She has learnt how to sit, spin and high five. Beyond cuddles and playtime she loves a good "brush massage" on the couch with her favourite humans.
STELLA (nearly 15 year old female torti)
Stella is the queen of the household. Although she is completely deaf, she exudes confidence and bravery like no other. She has a personality that leans towards the ultra-relaxed. There is little that phases little Bella, be it the vacuum cleaner or sitting under your feet in the kitchen while you make dinner. She is loved by all and loves all humans that she meets. She will seek out any lap at every opportunity but equally will enjoy a day of peace in her pumpkin if no one is home. As her world is quiet, she hasn't learnt to use her 'inside voice' and will often decide zoomies and a loud "chat" in the early morning is the best time for interaction. She's not afraid to let you know what she thinks, making her the life of the party in the household, with her demand for constant cuddles always keeping you smiling.
These adorable girls are part of our Legacy program which is designed to care for pets after their owners have passed away when a bequest has been left to AWL NSW. These beautiful girls will remain owned by AWL NSW but we are looking for someone to care for them for the rest of their lives.
To be eligible to bring these lovely girls to your home for the rest of their lives, you'll need to:
- Have your own car and driver licence
- Be able to provide them with a strictly indoor lifestyle
- Live within about a 60 minute drive from Kemps Creek (as vet work is done at our on-site vet clinic only)
To apply, please complete our form at https://bit.ly/awlnswcatfoster-kemps-creek or email brandoncowan@awlnsw.com.au and include your contact number if you have any questions or would like more info.
