About Wilbur
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Wilbur sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Introducing Wilbur, the cat who reaches out and says hello with his resounding 'meow'! Active, playful, and cheeky, yet a picture of calm, Wilbur is a wonderful combination of adventure and tranquillity. His loyalty will win you over, and his love for head scratches will never cease to charm your relaxing evenings.
Fond of both leisurely moments indoors and lively adventures outdoors, Wilbur likes having the best of both worlds. He spends the day exploring his surrounding environment, but always never too far from home. As the day winds down, he retreats indoors for some bird watching, a thrilling activity he thoroughly enjoys.
When indoors, his favourite pastime is lounging on the bed with you, appreciating your company while indulging in some total relaxation. Meal times are a particular highlight for him; he absolutely adores his wet food dinner and is likely to show his excitement in the most delightful ways.
Wilbur's unique charm shines through the beauty of his fur and eyes. While he may appear a bit timid at first, once he is familiar with someone, he quickly opens up. His display of affection ranges from offering head scratches and boops to rolling around and maintaining constant meowing conversations!
His ideal family would be a calm household with outdoor access, whether it's in an apartment or a house. He can easily adapt to any home; as long as they understand and respect Wilbur’s need to be the only pet in the house, they will find him a sublime companion.
Wilbur is litter trained, wormed, has no known allergies or dietary requirements, and presents no medical illnesses. He's ready to bring boundless joy and energy to your life. With a bit of patience to let him settle, you'll see a side of Wilbur that's sure to touch your heart with its noble simplicity. He's waiting for someone who can offer him a peaceful and loving environment where he can let his charming, feline personality shine.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation. The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
