About Angus
Angus requires the following in his new home
- definitely another desexed adult dog (not a puppy or senior)
- To have time inside with the family but understand he may prefer to sleep outside.
- Plenty of affection with his people.
- Frequent walks, but not long hikes.
- Slow introductions to new people.
- A yard with secure fencing.
Angus is developing into the best cuddly boy; he loves to sit in your lap and follow you around. Angus loves dogs just as much and when not receiving pats and cuddles from his people he loves being around other dogs, whether that’s playing, chasing or wrestling with them or just lying and relaxing with them.
Angus is not a high energy dog and although he loves his walks he is just as happier having shorter walks. He walks on a lead well and will even walk beside his person almost the entire time.
Angus has learnt come and sit, since he has been with his foster carer. He has been around children of most ages ranging from toddlers to teens, he is always shy at first, not knowing what to do (this is the same with new people) until they hold out their hand, then he is more than happy to get pats.
He is fine living with cats and is even known not to chase the visiting possums. At first, Angus enjoyed slept inside, but as he grows older and suited to his breed he now prefers to sleep outside. When Angus is having time inside with his people, he will need regular visits outside to help with toilet training.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
