About Bundy
Bundy is a cute, fun little fella who has being in care since he was an 8 week old kitten.
He is a full of energy and loves to run and run around full pelt, although he has slowed down a bit now that his 10 months old.
Bundy absolutely loves the chihuahua and they wrestle and play together all the time. His best friend is his doggo brother.
He is a very vocal boy and cries when his foster carer leaves him alone. Also when he gets the zoomies he likes to growl and mrow like a racecar. It's pretty funny.
"Mrow, mrow, mrow!!!"
He loves affection and is super clingy and loving. He always comes into sleep on his foster carers chest at night.
He is great with his fellow cat brothers and often crash tackles them and plays silly buggers around the house with them.
Bundy is absolutely obsessed with getting out the door however he must remain an indoor cat so you will need to practice good door management and have a cat enclosure for him or enclosed backyard. He would be good with kids however he is very quick getting out.
Medical notes
Bundy contracted wet FIP as a 14 week old kitten and his sister did as well however she had already being adopted and was never given the chance and euthanized.
Without treatment FIP is a fatal condition however with prompt treatment they have a 95% success rate.
Unfortunately the medication is new and not well known so getting it is hard and costs thousands.
Thankfully we were able to obtain medication for Bundy through a FIP charity organization and it cost us no more then a fancy dinner.
We will supply medication for Bundy should he ever need it.
The most expensive part was the beginning, midway and final blood tests he had.
Bundy under went his 84 days of treatment and quickly bounced back to his normal self 2 to 3 weeks in. It was amazing. He completed that with flying colours and began his 84 day observation.
He has now finished his observation period and is on the look out for his perfect home.
The chance of relapse in the following years is low but never zero.
We need someone who will stay in contact with us and agree to follow our advice on his medical decisions.
We need someone who is experienced with animal nursing. If you have had an FIP kitty beofre that would be amazing.
We need someone who will never say die and fight for him should he ever get sick.
He is a perfectly healthy happy little man now and loves life.
Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
