Please can we change Luka’s bio. It sounds a little dated.
I’ve written this is that’s ok.
Luka is a one year old Beagle / Foxhound with the softest floppy ears and a heart to match. He loves all dogs, big and small, much the same as he loves humans, big and small. Even at 26kg’s, he is very gentle and submissive.
He has a medium energy level but not hyper. A good walk / play a day and space to run and entertain himself, will see him sleep the rest of the day and right through the night.
He is desexed and beautifully house trained.
As a nose-forward breed he can be adventurous so a fenced property is important.
He is crate trained but this is not his favourite thing and as he is almost past his puppy days, he hasn’t proven to be destructive. He would ideally be an inside /outside dog and part of the family.
He is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and just waiting to fill your home with love.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
