About Bodie
Meet Bodie the certified chiller!
A typical day in the life of bodie looks like:
- waiting for breakfast time sitting in the bedroom windowsill watching the bats
- At the first sign of movement politely meow for brekkie
- Wait until human 1 leaves to try to trick human 2 into a second brekkie
- Chase toys around the house
- Lay in the sun napping - rotate like a rotisserie chicken - change nap locations all day
- Follow humans around when ready for dins
- Hide under the bed/behind doors and hunt foster parent feet before bed
- Rinse and repeat!!
List of things that Bodie loves!
🧸Head and neck scratches
🧸looking in the mirror and out windows
🧸laying on his comfort books
🧸meal time!!
He will never say no to a pat but doesn’t love being picked up. He never misses a meal though! He’s never had any issues with the litter box and is always curious to make a new human friend!
So get tapping on your keyboard and apply for this awesome little fella today!
Medical notes
Bodie has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, but don’t let that stop you for a millisecond!!
Cats with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus
can live long and healthy lives. It is essential that Bodie is kept as an indoor only cat to protect them from contracting illnesses from outdoor cats. Like with all cats, it is important to get a vet check up every year (you can do this at the same time that they get their
vaccination).

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
