About Iris
Shyer than her sister Gwen, Iris really takes a bit of time to get used to you. But once you gain her trust, be prepared for constant purring and a literal grey shadow following you wherever you go! She’s content with hanging out near you (not quite the lap cat yet) and silently judging whatever you’re doing.
When it comes to food, Iris can climb. She has no qualms in figuring out a way to get to your food (your usual food motivated cat behaviour) so that’s a little heads up for you. Iris also loves finding a way to shimmy into closets and cosying up amongst your clothes. While she’s not finding a resting spot somewhere in your house, she loves playing with strings, tiny toys and watching bird videos on the iPad. When she’s gets excited, she sometimes sticks her tongue out (and forgets to keep it back in) and it’s the cutest and funniest thing ever!
Iris is bonded with her sister Gwen and they will need to be adopted together :)
Do you have a place in your home and heart for this dynamic duo?

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
