About Bernie π»ββοΈ
π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈ SE QLD β MEET VELVETY SMOOTH POLAR PUG BERNIE π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈ
This gorgeous 8.5 year old boy is as soft as a fluffy cloud! He actually likes to be your pillow on the couch.
Bernie is a delightful pug cross that loves to be around his human(s). Heβs a funny character as he looks quite like a miniature Polar Bear. Heβs very sweet! π
Bernie loves to go for a big olβ stroll in the morning β ideally off-lead. Heβs not so keen on that thing that attaches him to his owner. Mum! Dad? I am totally capable of walking without that. When he is attached to the lead, he sometimes digs his feet into the ground and has a little puggo-old-man protest! π΄
Unclipped, and the world is his oyster. He loves the beach and he loves his daily adventures. Heβs quite fit for an oldie. He does love a looooooong snooze after a little bit of activity. Ideally right under your feet.
Bernie does take a while to warm up to people. Heβs a sensitive soul. He would need a family that give him the time to peel off all his layers and let him become part of his very own loving family.
Because he is a little slow in warming up, he would prefer no small children. A calm and easy going household would certainly be his jam. He's untested with cats.
Bernie wouldnβt mind being an only dog or have a small ideally female companion. πΎ
π (Even though he LOVES our INSPO PUG THEO, so we couldn't help but add one pic of them both πΎπ€π)
Bernie has recently been desexed, he had his nares done and heβs been on a super shredder. At almost 15kg, there was just a little too much pug. Heβs now down to 12.8kg and life is good! He would like to continue his fitness journey.
Picturing an oldy boy going for his daily power walk, reading the newspaper and heading back home to chilling in the sun and off we go for a snooze on the couch.
Bernie does suffer from dry eye. One eye worse than the other. He will have to be on Tacrolimus eye drops twice a day to give him comfort and a pain free life. His vision is still ok and he can definitely see.
If you think you have the time, patience and experience to give our gorgeous Bernie a wonderful new home, don't wait, apply for him today.
