About Smokie
For Smokie To Be Happy In His New Home He Needs The Following:
- An inside only lifestyle, with the option of an outdoor cat safe enclosure.
- A house big enough for his antics and games of chase and parkour.
- A desexed resident feline friend that enjoys playing and cuddling.
- Toys and scratching poles for him to play and explore with.
Smokie is the perfect mixture of adventurous, cuddly and playful, could he be the perfect cat. He is fully litter trained, has been happily introduced to children. Smokie is a great couch buddy and has been known to cuddle up on your lap or blanket while watching the telly. Smokie also loves wrestling with his sister Bandit and doing parkour around the lounge room, they’re entertaining together!
If you are interested in an instant cat family, Smokie would love to be adopted with his sibling Bandit, their combined adoption fee is $550. Please check out Bandit's link below.

*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ thoroughly before enquiring in detail.*
*Please only apply if you are ready to meet and adopt this pet now, and if all family members are in support of the adoption.*
*All cats and kittens adopted through Pyrenees Animal Rescue are only available to homes where they will be kept indoors or in a secure cat run/enclosure. A yard with fencing is not enough to keep an adventurous cat contained, safe from dogs and traffic. *
Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
