Evolet is young and energetic, and loves all people, so expect her to greet you with a big kiss. She loves pats and cuddles (if she can stand still). She is more agile than she looks and has a lot of energy to get out but when it happens she can be a big cuddle-bug.
Evolet needs a lot of stimulation and/or attention to keep her occupied before submitting to some puppy behaviours. She seems to be mainly interested in squeaking toys / balls, hidden treats and food puzzle toys. She does not find tug of war toys, tennis balls or bone like toys fun (to my knowledge).
She does suffer from some separation anxiety which will need some further training, you could consider another dog to keep her in constant company. While working on that separation anxiety she may need someone home a lot.
Evolet can walk fine but more practice is needed. She is unaware of her strength and will pull on a normal lead, however, the use of a halti muzzle has greatly reduced this. On road intersections, she can remain calm and sit on command. Evolet is a little overly eager to approach most dogs but needs work on her approach and friendliness towards others. She is tolerant of some dogs from far away but requires some firm constraint. She is untested on cats etc.
She has been around some older children (12 to 16yrs), a bit overly energetic to begin with but does settle after 5-10 minutes. Overall, Evolet is very friendly towards most people, greeting them with licks and jumping. An area of improvement is her excitable jumping.
Evolet is best suited to a good sized yard with high secure fencing and no small gaps to wiggle through. She does fine in cars trips.
Evolet knows to sit when she is calm and is highly food motivated which will help with training. On occasion she can “stay” and “lie down”. She has shown a lot of progress in areas and I have high hopes that she will flourish with the correct training.
