About Juno
Introducing the sweet natured and sociable Juno, a darling girl looking for her loving, forever family! Bright-eyed and ready for adventure, Juno is a bundle of love who simply cherishes human company and loves to be by your side.
She enjoys playful engagements with other dogs and loves a good frolic in the backyard with her canine pals. Although Juno can be a little shy with new experiences, she warms up quickly, especially if treats and love are involved. Her gentle nature makes her a favorite among our volunteers, who often delight in giving her belly rubs and cuddles.
Juno loves kids and demonstrates great gentleness around them, but can occasionally become a tad mouthy when excited. Thus, she would be best going to a home with children aged 12 and over or slightly younger children if the family has dog-owning experience. She isn't too keen on being picked up but adores spending quality time with her human pack and enjoys the pleasure of a good backstroke.
Owing to Juno's nature, the ideal outdoor area for her would be a house with a spacious garden to run around , with regular outdoor walks to satisfy her inquisitive side. A part-time worker would be ideal as she's comfortable being alone for short periods, but she'd love the comfort of having someone at home part of the time.
It should be noted that Juno would greatly benefit from a family with previous rescue pet experience. As a rescue, she sometimes requires a little extra patience, but she rewards you in kind with unconditional love and companionship.
With her short, low-maintenance coat and the fact that she weighs in at 21 kg, Juno is the perfect medium-sized buddy. Could Juno's charming personality and sweet face be the perfect addition to your home? Adopt her and experience a world of warm snuggles and beautiful bonding moments!
Good with Kids: Shown to be good with kids in the controlled environment of the Shelter.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience and an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
