Meet Louie, a lively and loving Collie x Cattle dog. At a healthy 28 kilos, this stunning 5 year old male has a gleam in his eye and a bounce in his step that radiates cheerfulness. Currently residing in Coolum Beach and vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, he's ready to bring an abundance of joy to a loving home.
Louie thrives when he's a part of the pack. He's most content when active and around people who give him plenty of attention. He is perfectly suited for a home with older kids over 12 years old who will appreciate his playful nature. He revels in companionship and gets along remarkably well with his canine buddies.
Although he has a spirited, fun-loving side, Louie also appreciates a calm, secure environment. He would do best in a house with a normally secured fence where he can enjoy some outdoor adventures while still feeling safe. Please note that Louie's friendly nature does not extend to cats and he should be in a cat-free home.
Louie is a gift of positive energy and affection. He offers an ideal balance of fun-filled doggy games and serene relaxation times. If you're searching for a loving, energetic, and remarkably affectionate companion, Louie could be the perfect addition to your home.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
